My players prefer the TPX Dynasty. They say it holds up better and keeps its pop the longest as well.

As far as wood bats go from my experience the Old Hickory X-out bats are the best by far. They are only 25.00 bucks for ash and 30.00 for maple. They are just as durable as much higher priced bats and they perform better. It is by far the best product for the value on the market.

The finished Old Hickory models look better than the X-outs but the performance seems to be the same even though the finished bats cost more.

The Max Bat is also a very good wood bat.

Coach: where are you getting them at that price. I only looked briefly but they were a little higher. I'd pick a few up for bp. thanks

Also most of my guys like the TPX Dynasty also. The next choice would be Easton's Stealth

I got the X-Outs at East Cobb and Jupiter for 25 a pop. They might be a little higher if you have to order them on line im not sure. But they dont charge any shipping. I got the number right here if you want to give them a call skipper. Well worth it 866-776-2287.

Coach May, Do the X-outs ever come with a finish? On their website they recommend them for practice, Does your team use them in games? thanks

My son has a couple of X outs and finished Old Hickory's. He actually uses the X outs in games. He likes the feel of them better. The difference in the bats is the X outs are not guaranteed to be specific in their wt or length. And they do not come finished. When you pick up the X out and put it beside a finished one you can not see a difference at all. My son says the X outs just have a better feel to them as far as he is concerned. For 100.00 you can get four of them. Hey thats a pretty darn good deal imo. The longest HR's he has ever hit have been with the X outs so maybe thats why he likes them so much who knows.

Thanks a lot for the info. Looking at the website you don't get to pick the model either. It sounds like it would be better to buy them in person.
