My son used the liquid metal (-5) last year and really liked it--so much so that he decided to use the Liquid Metal (-3) this year for Freshman ball. In my opinion, it has one of the most comfortable grips I've ever felt on a bat.

I used the first liquid metal when it came out and had trouble with the bat, particularly the bottom piece of the handle came off of the bat. Also a teammate of mine recently snapped a liquid metal in 1/2 like a wood bat wen we were takiing live pitching for out hs workout.
Thank for the recommendations fellas. I just won a great deal off Ebay for a liquid Metal Bat. I will get different one next year as he grows into his body.
