How can you tell apart the invites where you and you only have been invited to a showcase or camp, and the events that just send them out to every player who plays at a HS in the state?
I got an email from a Chicago W.Sox scout,inviting me to a tryout for pitchers and catchers,and didnt think much of it.2 Days letter, I got a letter in the mail from the same guy, asking me if I would be able to attend.
Showed it to my coach,and he said he knew the guy and he was legit,but had it not been for my coach I wouldnt have known.
How do you tell the letters and emails,etc apart?
