chialpha - First off welcome.

I would recommend you take some time and read through some of the recruiting threads that exist here on the site. You can search for threads that reference NCSA.

The general feeling here is that the services are there, but a good plan for athlete and parents put otgether at home can be a better and more effective route.

You iddn't reference the age of your son. Make sure to pay attention to the timelines for recruiting that you will see in many threads.

Lastly, don't be afraid to ask questions. There are many answers out there and all you need to do is ask the questions.
Thanks so much for the response. My son just began his 10th grade year and we are following the timeline from this website. He is right on track with it. He is going to be attending a showcase camp at UT in September. I am so thankful for this website, it is really a useful tool for us parents that are doing this for the first time. His high school team also works out thru all of fall and winter except for dead periods of course. Just want to make sure that we do all that we need to lay the ground work for him.
