I play high school baseball and when i release the pitch my foot is not on the rubber and down the mound due to my stride and momentum. I either get called for an illegal pitch or balk for "disengaging" the rubber while I am pitching.
In the rule book is says nothing about disengaging the rubber being illegal.

It is similar to tim lincecum not having his back foot on the rubber and also a little like Jordan Walton for Washington.

Please clarify this "rule"
