Anyone with any experience?

Hi mysonsacatcher. I don't have any experience with elbow dislocation but my 2019 C is in the middle of an eight week shutdown, and PT, for a shoulder impingement. If you can provide some detail about the injury, any diagnosis of damage, and what has been done to date, I might be able to provide insight as it relates to what my son's situation has been and what his plans are for rehab. Are there specifics you're looking for?
The injury occurred at a football game. He dislocated the elbow and it had to be reset at the ER. A few days later, he went to an ortho surgeon and had surgery to reattach the medial epicondyle with a screw. That was the only thing that had to be corrected by surgery. I have found many successful stories of baseball players regaining their ability to throw after just the medial epicondyle screw surgery (from plain ole overuse). I am trying to find any examples and/or history of baseball players, softball players, or even QBs that returned after a major elbow dislocation. Cant seem to find any cases.....
I saw where you asked the same question a couple of weeks back and had no responses. I wish I had more experience to lend on this one but I hope he has a speedy and full recovery. Good luck!

I know of the LSU guy but it was his non-throwing arm. I am researching the Bradley braves guy but it doesn't say which arm he dislocated. But thanks for the info.
Sorry, I didn't consider that. Looks like Jarecki transferred to Heartland for the 2018 season.
I would look for a throwing program that would be closer to that of coming back from Tommy John Surgery. I'd use that as your guide.
