Has anybody read the hitting drills for a batting tee book on probaseballinsider.com? I am considering buying it and would like to here if it is worth the money

It's all tee drills with good pics. and there's video for each drill online which is helpful. I'd say it's good for high school/college players and not really for young kids
Sorry about the weather
I would be more inclined to buy the TewksHitting ebook.
low finish, what makes the tewks hitting ebook better?

Drills to be used against a moving ball. IMO, if at all possible, you should learn to swing against a moving ball, whether it's BP, front toss, or self toss. I don't believe in soft toss done from the side.
Is it a book of drills or is it more? I have been on tewks website and he talks a lot the ideal
Bat path. Is this program designed to only fix the bat path or does it work on other mechanics?

You can't develop the ideal barrel path without having other good mechanics. He focuses on the barrel path because the best barrel path is a result of the best mechanics. He's teaching what I consider to be the best mechanics.
I bot it. For $10 it is fine. 20 drills off the tee. That's $0.50 per drill. A short write up and explination about the drill. Also a video demonsration available. Nothing really new or drills you can't see anywhere else on the web. But is is a good, consise write up of of the drills. On part that is helpful is a chart that matches the swing problem with the drills that may help overcome it. Like most things I found about 90% agreeable and 10% I have a disagreement with.
As for the Tewks stuff I have looked at his sight and for the life of me I can't figure out what he his talking about half the time.
Golfman, when you say you couldn't understand what he was talking about, what do you mean? Could you not understand the drills or was it something else?

His stuff requires you to break down your personal guardrails. If you're used to loading up (get the hands and weight back) then swinging, what he says doesn't make sense. His stuff isn't that difficult to figure out, as many dads will attest. I was familiar with the material he presented, but liked it regardless. The eBook explains things pretty well even if you're unfamiliar with them.

I don't have the Tewks book. Can't decide if it is worth buying. But reading the posts on his website, I have trouble following them. He breaks down many clips and and says look a this, but I am not sure I am see the same thing. I have yet to see a complete outline of his view of the steps of the swing.

I had the same problem understanding exactly what he was saying in the forum postings. The E book does a very nice job of explaining in detail with the help of videos for those who are visual like me. Well worth the $50 IMO.
When do you think the best time to implement tewks system is? Should I wait until fall ball is over or should I buy it before it starts?

Buy it before it starts and start working on a few of the concepts. Just turning the barrel will exponentially increase square rate.
The first book you mentioned is in a Facebook giveaway along with a free Tanner Tee here https://www.facebook.com/ProBa.../app_512541485429310
low finish, do you know if he answers emailed questions normally or does he not do that as much? I have sent him a few questions and I have never gotten a response.

He's a pretty busy guy, but I have received responses from him regarding emails. Give it a few days. If you're having issues understanding something, PM me. He and I believe in the same set of mechanics, though we describe them a little differently.
Low finish, sent you a dialog.
