It is amazing to watch replays of all their flawless fielding plays in the rain and mud!

I'm rooting for them for another reason too. They have committed to sharing their winners' proceeds with the widow of Mike Coolbaugh, a coach of one the Rockies' minor league teams who was killed this year by an errant ball. The Rockies are a class act all the way around. Best wishes to them!
The Rockies are an exciting team to watch. Love the "everybody contributes" way they play. It's nice not to have announcers falling all over each other praising one or two superstars.

When the division series were going on, our family had to make a decision who to get behind. Ya know, we are not the most loyal of Mariners fans! And the Padres ... lets just say we are a famliy in search of someone to love. Though my son has been a Yanks fan since he played t-ball. He admired the young Jeter and hasn't wavered from his Yankee devotion. But it was the son who solved our dilemma -- The Rockies are in Colorado. "South Park" is set in Colorado. Team chosen. Leave it to a 14 year old to find the not-so-obvious solution.

For me, they are a classy, D strong, fun team to watch. And you never know who will come through with the big hit. I'm rooting for a Rockies/Indians series. Rain, bugs...bring it!
