Seeking opinions on attending the 3-day pitcher's camp at the Texas Baseball Ranch and what would be the best time to attend (Winter or Early Summer). 2016 son will sign NLI in a month to a D1 School.

Son's arm is fine, but since he has not pitched since August 2015 and has been heavily involved in his off-season work outs (Weight Training, Running, Crossover Symmetry, and Core Work) his arm will not be in game ready shape by Christmas Break.

Son's future college coach recommends going if we can afford it, but suggests going right after HS Season. His logic is that the training techniques taught at the Baseball Ranch will be similar to what he sees in the fall of 2016 at school.

Thanks....

Both the Texas Baseball Ranch or the Florida Baseball Ranch would be a good option for your son. Last Summer at the ARMory (soon to be the Florida Baseball Ranch) there were 56 (mostly college players) at their 9 week Summer camp.

As PG Staff said you can contact Ron (TBR) or Randy (FBR) and they would be glad to answer any questions you may have.

Be advised they both do not teach the "balance point" style of pitching.
