Rules for contacting coaches while enrolled in NAIA program?

I am currently a freshman at a NAIA school. I remember hearing once that If I contact another coach at another NAIA program, that coach that I have contacted must let my coach at this school know that I have contacted him. Is this true?

Are there any quirky rules like that for contacting NCAA schools?
