Has anybody seen this program on the Science Channel (I believe). Very interesting development in the statistical world of baseball. A new way to evaluate talent.

Are you asking about the program about Bill James and the Boston Red Sox? If so, yes I have watched it several times. If your interersted in the subject in greater detail, there is a book called "The Mind of Bill James" which has quotes from many of the mimeographed articles he wrote in the 70's and up to today.

They also ran a 10-minute segment on him last Sunday on "60 Minutes", which might be available in on line archives. Or on YouTube.
