Does anybody else find it really odd that Sacramento State has zero left handed kids on their roster? We have been reviewing rosters to get a feel for different schools and I just found this to be very strange for a D1 school in California. They have a few kids who throw right and bat left. It looks like they had one LHP pitcher in 2016.

Its especially odd considering that last year's PC is now at Purdue, and he must like lefties, because he signed my son & his teammate. (Both lefties)
Heh...I recently brought this up to my son too, while it looks like UC Davis likes their lefties. Could just be that's who's best...I dunno.
The Sac St LHP in 2016 was good and drafted but I could have sworn I saw a couple sign early NLI for this current season including an ambidextrous pitcher...could be wrong. They recently signed a hard throwing 2017 hs grad LHP.
Mebbe it's because the HC doesn't like seeing a lot of RHBs bangin' balls off the parking structure.
That does seem crazy. Not even an outfielder or a first baseman. My son's college team only has 2 (both pitchers), and I thought that was unusual. Seems like they have trouble finding serviceable LHPs every year.

Just looked at a satellite pic of their facility. That could very well be the case.....but don't they eventually have to play an away game lol
Something's gotta be wrong there. I could have sworn they threw a lefty in relief during their series in Seattle last weekend. Then again, I've been known to be an idiot too, so it could just be me.
Havanajay, the 2017 they signed is Chris Daniels! We faced them last night in Granite Bay! Good pitcher.
My sons first at bat was down 0-2, and one of the scouts standing with my hub goes well he dug himself in a hole, son hit a hard line drive for a base hit!
He's a good pitcher , was going to UCLA, they dropped him and took a kid named Arias out of Woodland.
