People tend to be very positive when talking about the coaching staff at USF. Some people we know have a son who is playing for Pepperdine and they remarked about how well the coaching staff at USF seemed to get along. On the other hand they didn't like the field at all. That may have something to do with the seating as there aren't that many seats and the home fans get the good ones. I thought the field was a bit quirky, but not too bad and they have fairly good strength and other training facilities on site.

You might want to send a PM to newcomer as she has some knowledge about the program.
Two very good programs. USF seems to do a very good job of recruiting talent that has gone under the radar. Santa Clara has some great young talent and is improving each year. Both coaching staffs' have a solid reputation.

USF is very much an urban school. It's baseball facility takes up most of a city block and is rather unique. Santa Clara has a beautiful new baseball facility (2-years old).
