An Hommage Thread To Things That Never Should Have Happened........but did.
1) I have about 1 hour and ten minutes to live. My wife told me last night, "I'm sleeping in tomorrow 'cause I have a 15-mile training run and have to get some decent sleep." Well, I woke up before my alarm this morning, felt around on the bedside table for that little travel clock -- couldn't find it. It's somewhere in the room, set to go off in one hour and eight minutes...about two hours before my wife would want to wake up........I'm a dead man.
2) When I was 3 and my brother was 5, we were in the tub together, creating a lovely dirt ring, when all of a sudden this turd bobs up to the surface right between us. We both look upon it with real horror. To this day (forty years later), neither of us will take responsibility.
