In the Big 7 Conference, Science Hill seems to always be a contender. They didn't lose many seniors and 2 have already signed LOI. Dobyns-Bennett also always seems to be a contender. Sullivan East is the only school that lost a lot of seniors (12 or 13 actually, with 6/7 consistently starting). TN High only lost 3 players so they could certainly be a contender.
I wouldn't rule out Sullivan South this year. They knocked out DB in the first round of the conference last year. Their program is getting stronger.
A new coach may or may not help Science Hill. (It certainly worked for Sullivan East last year.) Matt's the only name I recall from last year, and, as been said before, Matt can't get the team to Memphis by himself.
It could be a very fun year for UpperEast TN baseball.
