This tournament is overrated. The Mustangs are by far the best team in the metroplex.

Did the Wildcats / Drillers play at NU last night?

No. Game was moved to 9am. However NW and DB are to wet to play. Sam is looking for playable fields.
He will have a decision by 10:00.

No games will be played on Sunday.
I assume that was agreed upon by coaches. Probably influenced by Arizona Tourney.

Clemente21 -- do you know if they decided to try to finish this thing at a later date? If they play the 3rd rounds games today (somehow), it will be down to 6-7 teams.

He had no details on what would happen if tournament would be cancelled. I will post if and when I get additional infor.

PD- The number to the side means what round they are in? Or does it mean how many games they've played? I'm assuming the first since I think ya'll got a bye. Just making sure.

Yes, the round. DBAT 17 did have a bye. If the tournament continues, there will be new brackets after round 4. If the Giants defeat DBAT 18, there will be 6 teams left. If DBAT 18 wins, 7 teams survive round 4. The LH Wildcats / Drillers is an elimination game.

Now I see why the Mustangs aren't in this tournament. They couldn't fill a team, they are all in Round Rock at the all state game.

Or maybe (and I don't know this... and it's not intended to bash anyone) they receive an automatic bid to the regional? I think they did last year, I'm not sure.

Also, I heard nothing is going on today... trying for tomorrow.

Just received text stating game is tenatively scheduled for 6:00 at Jesuit. We will receive comfirmation by 3:00.

They may also try to get an 8:00 game.

Just got word that DBat 18's will play at Jesuit tonight at 7pm

Word is it is postponed till a later date.
