Any info. would be great. My son has received two calls indicating that he is one of forty players with the opportunity to play in a national showcase tourney this summer. Not sure how he acquired my son's info., such as his own cell phone number? The tryouts are in few weeks in Beumont Texas, (95.00 now and another 100.00 at the tryouts). Once you make team everything is paid for.....If you don't make you are out your 195.00 and I'm sure it goes to the kids who made the team. Any info. would be great? Has anyone else received this call and if so, is it legit....

You can do a search for all posts regarding Bergan Beach, Scot Bort...(up there at the top of each page of the forums is "Find", with magnifing glass")
Son received a few calls from him back in 2004-05...I checked with Dallas area folks & son declined his offer...
Here is 1 post from last year. You might want to pm the poster, as he suggests in the post.

I have no problem telling you that they way he conducts business is an absolute joke. I could care less who he "coached" 20 years ago.
