I hear ya loud and clear Rhino! I heard LD Bell, Marcus, and Southlake have all looked good in scrimmages. The only team I've heard anything negative about was Plano West. Coach told me they had great young talent but lacked the pitching depth of previous years. I guess we'll see this week -- weather looks great by the way!
Richardson Berkner and Wylie play Monday night in a 7 inning game,(not 12 - 16), where the starting pitchers will try to stay in the game as long as possible, and the whole team won't bat, and hopefully my back won't be stiff when I get in my car to go home. Time to make it count. The 2011 season is here!!!
Keller is going to play Tuesday at The Ballpark. I wonder how that district is going to pan out ?
What about 10-4a? How do those Rockwall teams look early? Highland Park? McKinney High without Lee/Lipka?

Wylie wins 6 - 5 over Berkner in a wild back in forth game.
I caught the Colleyville-Hebron game at the Ballpark last night. Both teams looked good. Hebron's middle infield was a little shaky and made some errors which led to some unearned runs. They played to a 5-5 tie.

Highland Park looked good in its two scrimmages against Flower Mound. They were both 14 inning scrimmages so that all pitchers could get work. The first game FM looked horrible defensively and HP hit the ball well. I would say HP won it easily. The second 14 inning game was won by FM by a large amount. Pitching was better for FM, but still saw a few errors defensively.
