I saw Kempsville scrimmage yesterday against Maury. In my opinion, Kempsville looked ok.

Ok relative to what? I'm just curious.
Saw 4 innings of kellam and hickory, hickory has some work to do. Kellam looked better than they did against GB, center fielder hit the ball hard every AB and kellam catcher swung bat well and showed excellent leadership. saw the last 4 innings of landstown and poguoson, both teams short stops looked pretty good, both hit some P rods, landstown kid is pretty quick stole 2 bases on 2 pitches, poquoson kid showed good range but got ran over by the left fielder for his efforts. think landstown won if it matters.
Any other Beach teams played scrimmage games yet ?
Hopefully we are getting the C-O-L-D weather games out of the way ! Saturday was brutal with mini flurries in the air, but i was told it was balmy compared to Gb/Kellam last Monday....
I know a few beach teams have games later part of the week but that isn't looking to promising, rain/snow in the forcast. I don't think we've seen the last of the COLD games.....just think back to those sweltering days of summer for relief LOL!
Do u know who started at shortstop for Hickory?
I do not know his name, but the first SS for Hickory was unfortunately hit by a pitch to lead off the game and played the bottom half of the inning and was replaced ? The original SS did come back later in the game to play, so i don't think it was anything serious. There were two other guys that played SS vs. Kellam.

Atlantic Shores beat OSmith on tuesday 10-2. Game tonight against Saint Anne's-Belfield is rescheduled to saturday 9:30 at Cape Henry and friday AS plays Cape Henry at Atlantic Shores.
but alot closer than what it ended up ofs and atlantic shores was 0-0 after 4 inning!
It was a scrimmage.....I wasn't implying anything about the score. I think both coaches would have played it ALOT differently if it had been a real game. Umpire training game didn't help either side much either.

Scrimmage: Oakton at Lake Braddock Saturday at 3PM.
