Nelson...just received my shipment of Spitz (BBQ, Seasoned, Dill Pickle) and am really disappointed. Flavor lasts a milli-second and the kernel tastes like tree bark. Maybe I got a bad shipment but I'll stick with the Jim Beam's seeds as numero uno...nolo contendre.

Great to see your review of the seeds. I was considering ordering some myself, but I think I'll stick to what I can buy locally (David or offbrand).
Bulldog, I'll have to get back to you on the other flavors but I tried the Seasoned Spitz yesterday.

I was looking forward to them because, as much as I like the Davids, they really irritate my mouth after a good day of cracking and spitting.

The Seasoned Spitz have almost zero flavor. I don't see myself even finishing the first bag.

I still have several other flavors, Salted which I expect will have the same effects as Davids.

I also got BBQ, Chile, etc. I'm not looking forward to those either.

Sorry that you didn't like them . . . I'll take the rest off your hands if you are really not going to eat them. The reason you don't like the seeds is the reason I like them. The David's seeds are buried in salt and that is all you can taste. The Spitz have a much more subtle flavor and seasoning, and the seed itself is much larger and not as dried out.

Totally agree though I found this quite interesting...according to the Nutritional Facts, the sodium content in Spitz is almost twice as much as Davids. How this can be is beyond me in light of the very noticeable difference in taste.
