Just when I thought it was over, our team secured its first playoff birth in program history with a must win season final game. Early sadness, followed by extreme joy prolonging the inevitable last game. So proud of this group of seniors and grateful for the hard work of the underclass players.

Not using the entire ballpark and adjacent lots... wish I coulda made it. These darn kids keep winning too so we're gonna have to play a little longer too.
That's awesome congrats. That post reminded me of a situation several years ago here in NC. A high school team finished the regular season and collected the uniforms after their final game. The next day they were informed they had actually made the playoffs due to another team being disqualified for the tournament. Well they went on a roll and ended up playing for the State Title at the 4A level. They didn't win it but what a ride. Good Luck.
