My son's hs program is currently doing this. Anyone else doing it too?

Son says he definitely misses coach's presence and direction. It's a little helter skelter without a coach to guide everything, plus some players are playing with less than full intensity. We had the same problem last summer when the team played "loop ball," scheduled scrimmages against other local hs teams. The games didn't "matter" and the play was very sloppy. Extremely painful to watch.

We have been having open field here and it has been great. It is nice to sit up in the pressbox and see who is out there doing what.

As a coach it makes me proud to watch them get the field organized, get each other into hitting groups, hit ground balls and fly balls to each other and most importantly...watch the seniors teach the freshman and sophomores "how" to practice. They are making our job as coaches much easier.

I have a great group of seniors and it is because of them and their leadership that we have 40 or so guys out there every day. The UiL may say we start on Jan. 25, but my guys decided that they could not wait. Kind of makes you feel good about the upcoming season.
I have a 1997 black Maxima with a damaged side mirror. I was looking at eBay and found a set of mirrors with LED lights that flash when you signal for a turn (like that of the Benz). My concern is installing them. Since the stock mirrors don't have flashing lights, how am I supposed to wire the mirrors to be able to get a message from the car when it is signaling?
