Any comments about program, recruiting practices, coaches, etc?

Please feel free to PM...thank you!
Nice little school, both academically and if you want to learn baseball! Coaching staff is experienced, both coaches played for former Head Coach, Sheppard and his son has been the Head Coach for a few years now. Love their facilities and enjoyed watching them as a teenager in the CWS in Omaha in the middle 70's. They've had some great players who played in the ML and will be HOF'ers, Biggio & Mo Vaughn, and a couple years ago had a big RHP named Black I really feel will be a good starting 3-4 man in the bigs with the right opportunity.

I couldn't tell you about their recruiting practices, but I've never ever heard a bad thing about them from my relatives who've attended the school in the last 10 years.

For a first hand comment, it might be advisable to ask a player who's played for the Sheppards the past 30 plus years.

I don't know much about the money put into the program nowadays as compared to yesteryear, but I do know it's tougher now to get money for many programs, but when you attend a Seton Hall Pirate home game, it's sometimes difficult to find a seat.

Good luck!

MD - my son played there twice this past college season. They have fences all the way around, although they are pretty out there in the LF power alley and going toward CF. A righty with speed to the gaps will end up with lots of triples here.
