This has happen several times in the last few years. A potential 1st rounder pick, got into a number of off field legal (arrests) problems.

A number of publication writing about the draft did not mention any of this, afraid parents might sue.
Parents acted like it was no big deal, called them youthful indiscretions.
Even though ever MLB scout already knew about this.

Other publications did mention the legal troubles and many scouts would not draft the player because of their troubles. Not worth risk.

How much should the press reveal about off field troubles in relation to where the player might go in the draft.
