Showcase $

Ask PG--they will give you the answer

If I recall correctly, they get an ad in the PG program that is sold at the showcase. We applied for sponsorship by a national mail-order baseball business, and they replied that they'd love to help, but are inundated with requests like this and can't set a precedent. If I were you, I'd try a smaller operation.

My son did a PG Showcase and was sponsored by his father's Elks Club. They are great for sponsoring local kids for different things. They were recognized as a sponsor in the Showcase pamplet.

My son got sponsorships from a local sport collectibles shop and from a gentleman for whom he did some landscaping work. You may not be able to find one sponsor to cover the whole amount, but may be able to get a few to each kick in a smaller figure. It all adds up.

You may also want to talk to relatives and folks in the community who know you and know how you play. They may or may not be willing to pony up $10 or $20 a piece without needing their name in a program. Its not easy to approach people about money but the worst that can happen is for them to say "no" and last time I checked "no" didn't hurt very much.
