How old are the boys and what level do they play at?

The invites happen in many ways but as PopTime says what the ages/HS yrs of the players?

Well my oldest will be entering High School next year. I was told he would have to wait until he was in the 10th grade. Is that true.

If so, how would he find out about getting an invite? I am trying to get him into a Pre-High School show case close to home, you think that would be a good idea.

why dont you wait and see if he makes the HS team--I think you are jumping the gun here

Sorry, TRhit, you got it all wrong. I was not jumping the gun, I was just asking a question. I was asked what the age/HS years were. I feel I am entitled to ask a question if I don't know the answer. How else will I know the rules. It doesn't hurt to get all the information I need for when the time comes.

I interpreted your post in one way and your were going in another--sorry--- I just dont to see people pushing the envelope too early

I just want to be ready when the time comes. To me he is still a baby, looks like a man, but still my baby. Its just nice to be prepared and have all the knowledge possible.

I am just trying to learn for myself, please don't punish me for that.

Couple of questions:
Your 8th grader, what kind of experience has he had? How long has he played? Has he played on a travel team?
