Welcome to the High School Baseball Web! Smile To give you tips we first need to know a bit more about you. What grade will you be in this Fall? What type of baseball are you playing this summer (local team, travel ball, camps, showcase, etc.)?

Make sure you also take a look at the library of articles available on the Homepage, especially the section on Recruiting Tips. Wink

For entering your sophomore year, you are right on target. There are some great tips listed on the Recruiting Time-line by HS grade level. The most valuable reading you can find for baseball recruiting!

One area that is very important is GRADES! Your GPA is going to be as important a recruiting tool as your baseball skills! As a sophomore you have time to continue good habits or start working now to improve your GPA. Also note the suggestions in the time-line about SAT/ACT testing. You'll want to start taking these tests earlier than the majority of HS students so that you will have results to show college coaches during the start of junior summer recruiting.

Otherwise, enjoy your HS baseball years, work hard, the time is going to go by very fast! You've found a valuable tool in the High School Baseball Website. Share the suggestions on the time-line with your parents and invite them to join too! Cool
