swingdoc,

The SS did move to A&M. He will be replaced by Greg O'Neill (New Caney/Wharton JC/Missouri), who had the 5th best batting average (.326) this summer in the TCL.

The Bearkats have brought in several talented juco transfers, inluding Spaugh (C, Panola/Missouri), Cox (3B, San Jacinto JC), Fry (2B, Eastfield JC), Cooke (SS, Panola), Prihoda (RHP, McClennan JC), Northcutt (RHP, San Jacinto JC), Lindenberger (RHP, San Jacinto JC).

For those that may be interested, the Bearkats will host an Alumni Game, on Oct-8th, at 5:30pm, following the Homecoming Game. It will be held at the new Holleman Field, in conjunction with the Softball Alumni Game.

Be good,
David
swingdoc,

The Snake Pit did steal the show. I would have loved to see those guys, when they were younger. They had some great lines.

There were at leasty 50-alumni players that put on the spikes. There were close to that many more, in the stands. It was a great night, for the Alumni.

Next year's event will be bigger and better.

Be good,
David
