my question is what are the rules on sliding?

the other day in a scrimage i went hard into second on a DP ball, i ended up on top of the bag and the 2nd baseman was on top of me with the ball in his hand. i didnt knock him over but i did make a lot of contact with him because he was attempting to throw from on top of the base.

in high school they call interfernce for any contact. im not sure what is allowed or accepted in a nonwritten rule kind of way in college.

In college, the runner cannot interfere but most importantly, they cannot slide beyond the bag or out of the baseline.
Sliding beyond the bag is the item called most often, but often very inconsistently.

Why would anyone use a slide rule in college? Calculators are cheaper and more accurate!
