The ones you have named are all strong programs.  They all go to the same events, all with good exposure.    There may be significant differences in cost to the player, so that is something to look into.  I believe Trosky is a flat fee for the summer while the others are per event.  Also, some of these organizations field multiple teams at the same age level.  Ideally, you will want to find the strongest team your son can play for and still get plenty of playing time.  Figuring that out may involve attending a tryout/workout and talking with the staff about their current depth at your son's position(s).

My son has played for a couple of these over the years. The big thing is playing time. It does you no good to go to Georgia for the WWBA and only get a couple of ABs or only pitch an inning or 2. Depending on your grad year they already have there guys. So unless your a stud it's hard to crack into the starting line up, but if you can well worth it.

If your kid can play SGV Arsenal it is the way to go.  Do they go to the same tournaments??? Yes!  Where they separate themselves is that it is not a money grab.  They run 1-2 teams at each level, and if I am correct they have cut back down to 1 team at each level.  Also, a lot of the programs cater to the D1 kids, which SGV does not.

A key note is that most of these strong programs have wrapped up their tryouts & rosters for this summer & fall (SGV, CBA & GBG are the strongest three that 2018 has played for / played against). Most all of them conducted their tryouts in December & January. 2018's program set rosters about three weeks back, including USA Championship in Arizona rosters.

All of these programs offer regular weekend games to supplement the  tournament schedule. 2018's experience is that the summer & fall travel ball has been superior to high school baseball - from the quality of coaching to playing time to the quality of competition.

Yes, 1 team per grade. Historically, the top end of each team is very talented (e.g., 7 alums playing in MLB at the moment; over I believe the last 10 years, nearly 70 players drafted), with lots of PAC12 commits, but they also proudly place kids in NAIA and D3 programs.

Anyone play with trosky?

Yes, but only played to the extent of a few showcases.  Have meant and spoken with him on a few occasions long ago and found Trosky to be a great guy and runs great programs. We would have played more for him but son was committed to another program in NorCal.  It's been 6 years or so since I've seen him.
