Looking at how many draftees end up serving as more than a callup/fill-in sees that number drops dramatically again. Very rarely are there 100 draftees in a draft who manage to produce 0.1 WAR. Only 9.8 percent of draftees who signed have managed to register 0.1 career WAR, which is roughly 83 players per season.

I wonder who was the lowest draft pick to ever make it? It would be tough to be a first rounder that doesn’t make it...so close!
Mike Piazza comes to mind, but he had a lot of help.
It’s hard to judge the lowest to make draft has been anywhere from forty to sixty rounds over time. Would Piazza been a 40th round pick by Uncle Tommy or signed as a free agent? He was a sixtieth round when there were sixty.
