There really is life after November?


Sometimes, I think people (mostly parents) believe the world is going to come to an end if junior isn't commited by August. And most sure aren't by November, either.

I might add, that Clemson also had some spring committments for this fall.

Congratulations to all the young men who have signed!!!! Do to son's difficulty in school, he has not even considered a DivI school. He knows his limitations and has been looking at small DivIII schools and a few juco's. He has worked very hard to raise his grades and GPA and he now qualifies with the NCAA clearinghouse for DivI! Yes!! that was his goal even though most of these schools are way too big for him. The knowing that he CAN qualify is what mattered to him...Maybe somewhere down the road...This may sound odd but baseball is what keeps him focused on school....he needs the grades to play and it will not change when he plays college ball.He has told us if it wasn't for baseball he would not go to college! I want my son to succeed in school but also to be able to succeed on the field!! I hope this makes sense!! There are no regrets on his part that he didn't persue any big schools because he knows that he wouldn't survive the classroom! I have to say that reading the board for many months has helped us to realize that this is OK...we have learned alot from all the parents who post here and appreciate a"birds eye view" Thank you !!!!!!
