my son is a good enough ball player to attend
showcases. our problem is money and transpo.
I am a single parent of two kids boy & girl.
My son is a hell of a 3rd baseman and going
into his senior year. I know this is the year for showcases. But realistically I have to choose between putting bread on the table and
sending my son to showcases.
My dilema is this. I feel terribly guilty over
this. He has drawn a little interest from a
couple of JC's and has started to send out
letters.
Will his opportunities be greatly diminished
if he does not attend a showcase? Or if he is
good enough will his name get out there anyway?
