Hey All,

How is everyone? I haven’t had a chance to read many posts to catch up on all the kids but it is on the top of my list when I get any decent amount of time online again! I simply do not get online much these days.

What’s been keeping me so busy? Keaton, Anderson & Lilly are their names, the cutest little grandkids in the world! These little darlings suck up all my free time and I couldn’t be happier about it. However, lately I’ve been wondering about my favorite HSBW posters and players.

Last spring, while at the University of New Mexico, Luke had his second (and career ending) shoulder surgery. He attempted to rehab after the first surgery, it became clear that just wasn’t going to happen. He spent the majority of his time at UNM as a volunteer coach, an area he wants to pursue. He is in good spirits but I believe he is still processing “life after baseball.” He is not one to moan and groan about things but I know he must feel a great loss, after all, baseball was his life from ages 4 – 21.

We are not finished with baseball by any means. Keaton, the oldest of our new generation is smack in the middle of his second year of T-ball and I must say, the boy has potential!
