Just wanted to share something for those parents with freshman and sophomores.  It goes by FAST!  I know a lot of schools up north haven't even started games, but in Florida our Senior Night is next week.  My 2015 will start on the mound and get the first 4 innings.  My 2015 will end his baseball career with high school.  Choosing academics (top 5 program for his desired major) over playing at JUCO or NAIA.

What is special is that his 2018 brother is a catcher and the coach is allowing him to catch those innings.  My 2018 has played mop up this Varsity season so has not had the chance to catch his brother.  My wife and I will snap about 1000 pictures and video from 5 different angles, LOL.

Very proud of both boys as all parents are.  It's like a roller coaster.  Ups and downs and before you know it, it's over.  Don't miss the moments getting hung up on things that don't matter.  And as our coach shows with this decision, not all are jerks!

Congrats Gatornate!  My son is a 2017, and this being his Soph year, the two first years have flown by....posts like these force us to slow it down, and try to enjoy every moment.  He has a game tonight, and I will try to enjoy every bit of it.

Gaotrnate - sounds like both kids have been guided well by his parents.  Job well done!
