Just wondering, my brother plays at a D-1 program, was recently told that he must be out of his dorm by may 9 by which he will be leaving for the weekend to play that morning. Is this common at all D1 schools or what. Just odd to me.
I would imagine the school is required to house him during the season if it goes past the normal school session. I would be shocked if they could just kick him out and put him on his own.
Son's D1 school finished last Fri and season doesn't end until 5/18. The baseball team pays the school to house the athletes that live on campus and gives them food money too.
