My 2017 son caught his first V game last night. It was ugly, came back from down 0-10 to win 15-12. Caught the whole game, started a bit shaky and every inning shook the rust off (thumb injury set him back a few weeks) and looked almost mid-season form by the end, making some great blocks and throws. At the plate he was 2-4 with a double to start the 10-run rally and hit a bomb to dead center that was a "loud/long" out. But he did it under the lights and in front of lots of visiting family and a proud Dad.
