Here is a more recent article than the one I originally read:

We were able try some of these tests on the visit.  I have a feeling that they could help a great deal.

Thanks everyone!  I am not going to lie.  The monetary situation played a huge part in this.  The fact that our son can get. Worldclass education, and be guaranteed a good paying job upon completion of his undergraduate degree, was huge.  The people we met were also great, and it really felt like a big family.  Also, if anyone is familiar with Coach Kaz, he is electric!  My son loves him...

Congrat's rynoattack and Jr. I remember listening to a game last year at my sons future school. All the announcers could talk about was the athleticism and physical condition of the Air Force team. They also spoke of how they conducted themselves on the field. Very impressive! Good luck to your son. My son(LHP) will be a junior when ryno jr is a freshman. Maybe they will face each other.

Thanks, and that would be sweet.  Hopefully, he will help them be more competitive.

That's great.  Do they cover all costs?  Does he have a military commitment after, how long?

Well I know I asked some pointed questions, just curious, you don't need to answer, just sounds very exciting.

In my son's HS class we had a girl go to Naval Acad,(basketball) red shirt first year, five year plan, leaves with masters degree, no cost to family, has six commitment to navy afterwards,

Yes.  When you enter the Academy, you are a cadet first, and an athlete second.  Everything is paid for, and they receive a stipend too.  As far as his military commitment, his wI'll be five years.
