As reported in the Chicago Sun Times today, page 65A.........these three Sophomores Can Play! I tell you this and they are not My Three Sons!
In the Oak Park vs Guerin game, Class of 2009 Sophomore Jo Jo Moldonado (Chicago-Clubbers elite alum) had two hits and a RBI. This kid can play. It was Oak Park over Guerin 8-2.
In the Rita vs. St. Lawrence game Sophomore Angelo Burrage (Clubbers-Chicago elite alum) is given his due for smashing a 3 run homer in the sixth inning. Again, this kid can play. It was St. Rita over St. Lawrence 7-6 and this kid prevented them from hitting the rockpile.
In the Mount Carmel vs. Young game Sophomore Class of 2009 Gabe Henriques (Clubbers-Chicago elite alum) was inserted into the game as a pinch runner and gave a juke move on the third baseman rattling him and causing an E-5 throw. That was really smart base running and he scored! While he is number three on my list, once again he too can play. It was Young over Mount Carmel 2-0.
Before you accuse me of hype, you better believe this when I tell you it is true, because everyone I know understands that this is no joke.
While I may be just a Paperback Writer these three guys can deliver a jolt!
