SOUTH TEXAS PROFESSIONAL SCOUTS SHOWCASE

NOVEMBER 11TH, 12:00 check in, 1:00 start
Boerne High School near San Antonio

The biggest showcase for high school juniors (09) and seniors (08) in South Texas. We expect every major league club to be in attendance and a large number of college coaches. You must pre-register in order to have your information included in our program that will be distributed to all scouts and college coaches. A donation of $50.00 to the Brian Wilson Memorial fund (former Reds scout) will be collected. This is also the last day for college coaches to recruit before the dead period. Don’t miss this opportunity.

My husband and I just returned from this event and were very impressed. About 200 h.s. juniors and seniors participated and 60 scouts were present, including representatives from every MLB organization, Oklahoma, UTSA, Midland College, Cisco Jr. College, Weatherford JC and Hill JC. Everything was run very efficiently and it was amazing to see all the scouts writing notes. Kudos to Washington Nationals scout Jimmy Gonzalez for organizing this event, which gave tremendous exposure to South Texas high school baseball players. Hopefully, it will become an annual event.
