Any details on WB first game?

WB was outscored 12 - 2 by an American Heritage team (19-0 at time) that features a number of players headed to D1 programs. Every player in the starting 9 of American Heritage could hit missiles. If stats were reported / kept, six players for WB had hits - Brooks, Doggett, Thompson, Barefoot, Cassidy and Donovan. (WB players and parents were told before game that it was a VHSL benefit game, that no score or stats would be kept or reported.)

Looks like from the Hanahan schedule, that would mean that GF advances out of their "pool"?? If so, who are they playing next and when?

Grassfield played the winner of the Hanahan HS and St. Edwards (Ohio, ranked 29 in the country); which Hanahan won.

GF won 6 - 4 (against Hanahan), Matt Outman is the winning pitcher and left with the score 3-2. Jason Carter pitched the last 2 innings for the save. Jason Carter and Cody Cox hit back to back home runs in the first inning.

This was a single elimnation tournament, but since we can only play 3 games, Hanahan advances.

redbird thanks for congratulating GF on a good win? hope you get to see your pitching matchup. your are a class act for sure

Buck, I don't know why you're panties are in a cinch but I already congratulated Coach Todd via text. I didn't realize I owed you anything.

Cisco and Allie both sit in the 90's and are 1st round talents. I would think anyone would want to see that matchup. As a matter of fact, Baseball America mentioned the game.

As for my class, I could not care less what you think.
