Here's a nice "blerb" on a great kid!! He should be getting more press. Currently leading in K's... very good ERA. It's in his genes...Dad played back in the 60's. Dad was also my son's first pitching mentor at age 11-13. Great family!
I'm a big fan of Irving High, too...I'm alum from the 69!! Beaven is showing great stuff this season...just had an off night...

GRAPEVINE – Irving's Blake Beavan got rocked, and Southlake Carroll's Chase Reid rolled.
Reid had nine strikeouts en route to a four-hitter. Irving (13-10) never had a runner reach third base.
