Pat Disabato in today's Southtown talks about St. Rita and St. Laurence working out at the Bo Dome. This covers the rumors floating the last couple of weeks.
Personally, I think it's a stupid rule anyway. Maybe if these kids were tired from practice they would have less energy to go to drinking parties.......or not.
During the winter of Junior's freshman year, his summer travel team worked out at a facility on Sunday nights.
On the other side of the facility there were thirty kids (of which the boys knew a couple to be freshman too) and two "adults" all wearing the same colored and monogrammed sweatshirts and hats of a nearby HS in Junior's conference.
We found it amazing that all those people would coincidentally gather in the same spot on repeated Sunday nights.

What a bunch of cr@p. Almost sounds like we should be applauding him for breaking the rules...
Just like the pat on the back and the chuckles he received from the rest of his coaching staff when he picked up that live ball and handed it to his catcher..
Incredible that the IHSA just lets it be...
Thank god for the honorable rule-abiding coaching staffs that most of us have the pleasure of working with. Makes it that much easier to spot the bad apples.
