I think the Sox will definitely be in the race until the end. Buerhle, Peavy, Danks, Garcia, and Floyd all panning out now. Offense led by Rios and Kornerko also proving to be one of the team's strengths.

I could see them getting Dunn, but it wouldn't surprise me if Kenny Williams somehow acquires Prince Fielder from the Brewers.

Peavy likely done for the year. Who gonna be his replacement?

Going into the season, I thought the Sox didn't get any respect......then thought I was wrong as they stumbled out of the gate. They will win the division as they are just better than the Tigers and as it is, The Twins don't have the pitching. They will be all in on this year and they will pick up a pitcher to fill in for Peavy.....maybe they will wait and see how the kids fill in, but I'm betting on a trade....for a pitcher not a hitter.

I'm hoping it's Zambrano! He is the antithesis of what a White Sox player is. I think Ozzie would go for Dempster first. Kenny does love some over the hill players (Griffey) but I don't think he will go after Koufax....but didn't the Chairman grow up a Dodger fan?

Oswalt will be too rich for them....all they need is an average guy to give them a few good starts now and then.....eat some innings.

I want to see the Sox take care of business this weekend, with no let down. Anything less than a 2-3 weekend is unacceptable. Then I'll be a believer again.
