Keith Meister, 817-419-0303, in Arlington

My son has had experience with Dr. Keith Meister(Arlington), Dr. John Conway(FTW) for baseball injuries,(i..e arm, elbow,shoulder, knee) and Dr. Drew Dossett (N. Dallas)for back/spinal injuries.

They are said to be 3 of the very best locally and well respected on a national level as well.

My son has had multiple issues from ankles to knees and broken bones. We were recommended to Dr. Bonsell by a friend who is a Doctor at Baylor Hospital and have always been pleased with his assessment / program to get my son back to playing. He is an athletes ortho and focuses on getting the player back on the field but healthy.

I'll second what Tx says. Conway from recent experience and Meister from many folks who have used him. I don't think you can go wrong with either.

Meister for shoulder issues and Conway for elbow issues....

Dr.Jeff Cantrell is a great orthopedic doctor. He works with a lot of baseball specific arm injuries. He also worked on my knee and I am running sprints just 4 weeks out of surgery.He can be contacted at 214-697-4499.

Dr. Cantrell is a good one, also Dr. Levy @ Tx. Sports Medicine(shoulder,rotator cuff) specific is a good one also. Ortho group for the Mav's. I had surgery done on shoulder (too much bullpen) and its been over 10 years and doing great!

Dan Cooper at the Carroll Clinic. Cowboys doctors, Giants, Stars, SMU. He's terrific.

Knees- Dr. James Montgomery

Shoulder- Dr. Keith Meister

Elbow- Dr. John Conway

I'd also highly recommend Dr. Don Buford - former MLB player.
