Spring powered pitching machine

I have a Louisville slugger spring powered pitching machine the 75mph one, no electricity just springs. I have set it up In a turf batting cage, I have a plate set up and the machine throws the baseballs straight down the middle everytime but it's across the board as far as height wise. Some pitches it throws are above a batters head and sometimes it bounces before the plate. Does anyone have any previous experince with these machines and know how to correct the problem. Thx

How often does it throw too high or too low? How often does it throw out of the zone? If 80 - 90% of the throws are in the zone somewhere then I say leave it alone nad use the bad pitches as practice for laying off bad stuff.

Plus - I have absolutely no clue how to adjust this type of machine to fix it.
