SPRING TRAINING for the 2013 Baseball season
CATCHERS... Will you be ready??!! MAYBE NOT!
“One area in baseball that receives little attention from coaches is teaching proper catching techniques. In general, there is not enough practice time devoted to it and the result is a lack of quality catchers at all levels. So, just because you are working out with your team does NOT mean you will be ready to... PLAY BALL!
On Sundays in March at 12:30, attend a one hour Review/ CheckUp at the BATT Academy; then stay/ return each Sunday for another hour that focuses on one of four skill sets.
The CheckUp reviews and critiques each catchers: RECEIVING, BLOCKING, & THROWING ($25).
Each week a different skill will be instructed; receiving, blocking, throwing, and fielding the ball ($50 a session).
Receive a two page Spring work out program for catchers.
