spring trip/area/contacts

Coach, My son's HS went to Fort Walton Beach every year. It was always a fun trip - plenty to do, beautiful area, well run games. It's called the Fort Walton Beach Bash. The teams that play (just as in any other spring break tourney) depend on who's on spring break that week. Often the FL schools are still in session, but some of them will schedule a game against you in the evening if you let the tourney director know. There's usually a team or two from here that head to Cocoa because it's warmer. However the weather in late March - early April has always been nice in Ft. Walton. Evenings could get on the cool side occasionally. If you are interested in the contact there, let me know and I'll get it from son's former coach.

The Ft. Walton Beach Bash is played at several area HS and Okaloosa Walton Community College. Son's HS goes every year and we never had a bad trip. I would say for any of these tournaments you would need to act quickly as the housing fills up early from what I understand - whether that's Ft. Walton or Cocoa Beach.
