I believe both Scott and Brian Householder are going to Harper. That school is getting two of the better "unhyped" players in the Chicago area.
I believe Scott already has 9 homers and over 30 RBIs. Quality lefthanded pitcher. There will be many D1 coaches regretting they didn't go after this kid.
His brother Brian who hasn't had the consistent power is starting to catch up. Brian has been tearing it up for Joe's this spring. These two boys are quality people on and off the field and Harper is lucky to get them. Go Bulldogs!

karls,

If you know, who did he hit his home runs against, please?

Sorry, but I don't know who he hit all his home runs against. St. Joes played a pretty good pre-season schedule and are in the ESCC conference so I'm sure they were against good competition. Believe me, he's a legit power hitter and who also hits for average. Great Swing!
BTW he hit two more over the weekend against Naz and I believe Geo Cantwell was pitching. 11 and counting for the year. He's the goods!

Scott hit one last week on his home field that was estimated to be well over 400 feet. It landed on a fly in the infield on another field that backs up to the varsity field.
Based upon my recollection - the freshman field would be somewhere off center to right center field. To reach the freshman infield from the varsity home plate would probably be easily over 500 feet. (350 to 370 feet to reach the varsity fence plus another 200 feet or so to reach the infield on the freshman field.

Do we have another steroid scandal?

No disrespect to Mr. Householder - who is a very good player - if he does have 11 home runs more power to him. The home run landing on the freshman infield on the fly is a little hard to believe though.

I don't make the news, I just report! I admit I didn't see it, I got the report secondhand from someone who was at the game. (and no it wasn't his dad or mom.)
I've seen him over the last few summers just consistently crush the ball against some of the best pitchers in the midwest and beyond. Like I said before, the kid is legit and deserves any accolades that come his way.
