My father went to medical school there. My own son attends Wash U in St Louis. SLU is close to downtown town, and has a failry attractive campu. It has a good academic reputation, and a very good basketball program. I don't know anything about its baseball. My son loves St. Louis--not too big, pro sports avaialble, with plenty of things to do.

Hope this helps.

I have been told by a friend that their coach is really serious about building a good program.

SLU's coach is the former head of the highly successful, pressure cooker University of Central Missouri D-2 powerhouse in Warrensburg, MO.

SLU has a nice urban campus. Pretty good academically. Not cheap. Field is good and right in the middle of school. Billikens were almost .500 last year in a fairly weak conference. They will get better under the new coach.

Do your homework on this program.
